Preheat oven to 200°C.In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder together.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the water, salt, sugar, and oil. Bring the mixture to a boil then remove it from the heat.
Stir the flour and baking powder, into the wet ingredients in the saucepan. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a rounded star tip. Pipe the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using a pastry brush, brush the churros with canola oil.
Bake in oven for around 30 minutes or till the churros are golden brown.Then transfer to cinnamon sugar mixture and roll to coat while it is still hot.
