Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Skimmed Milk
  • 3 tsp Black Tea
  • ½ tsp Ginger
  • 2 Cardamom Pods cracked open
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 10 Cloves
  • Sugar or Honey optional

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients.
    Karak Chai
  • In a pot, bring water to boil. Then add the tea and all the spices. Leave on a low heat for 10 minutes. Then add the milk, and bring it to a simmer once more.

  • Strain into cups, and sweeten (optional).
    Serve it with medjool dates.

You can alter the amount of water and milk according to how strong you prefer your tea.
