Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon steaks
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 4 Garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 4 Lemons thinly sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

Instructions

  • Season the salmon steaks on both sides with salt, pepper and paprika. Set aside for 15 minutes.
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the salmon and cook until bottom is golden, 5 minutes, then flip and cook the other side. Remove onto a plate.

  • Add the thinly sliced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about a minute, until fragrant.

  • Add in the honey. Stir for short.

  • Pour in the soy sauce, lemon juice. stir well to combine all of the flavors together.
    Add the lemon slices.

  • Finally add the salmon steaks to the pan. Cook until salmon is cooked through, and sauce thickens. Flip in between, and spoon sauce over salmon.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes.
