Place the mussels in a colander under running water. Use your hand to remove any debris that can be on the shells.Set aside to dry.Gather the rest of the ingredients.
Preheat oven to 200C.Meanwhile prepare your topping.In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients.
Then add the olive oil and lemon and mix well.
Grease a baking sheet and spread the mussels.
Fill each mussel with the bread crumbs mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven covered for 10-15 minutes.Then continue baking uncovered till it is golden brown.
