Ingredients

  • 1 kg Half shell mussels cleaned
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tbsp Lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Dill finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Place the mussels in a colander under running water. Use your hand to remove any debris that can be on the shells.
    Set aside to dry.
    Gather the rest of the ingredients.

  • Preheat oven to 200C.
    Meanwhile prepare your topping.
    In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients.

  • Then add the olive oil and lemon and mix well.

  • Grease a baking sheet and spread the mussels.

  • Fill each mussel with the bread crumbs mixture.

  • Bake in the preheated oven covered for 10-15 minutes.
    Then continue baking uncovered till it is golden brown.
