Ingredients

The Biscuits

  • Cup Whole wheat flour
  • ½ Cup Rolled Oats flour grinded
  • ¼ Cup Coconut oil softened
  • ¼ Cup Fine Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ¾ cup Light coconut milk
  • 1 Pinch Salt

The Topping

  • Dark chocolate melted

Instructions

preparing the biscuits

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
    Gather your ingredients.

  • In a bowl with stand mixer, cream together coconut oil and sugar until fluffy.

  • In another bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, oats flour, baking powder, salt.
    Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed sugar, beating to blend.

  • Gradually add the milk just until the dough comes together. Stop adding as soon as it has come to a ball of dough.

  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll over the dough using a rolling pin.

  • Using the cookie cutters, cut the biscuits into shapes.

  • Place the biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and into the preheated oven.

  • Bake for around 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.

  • Set aside to cool. Then start coating the biscuits with melted dark chocolate according to your preference.
