Instructions
Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for few hours to remove starch. Change the water occasionally, rinsing in between.
Prepare the
bechamel sauce
as described.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Coat a baking casserole with olive oil.
Arrange the sliced potatoes in the casserole.
Prepare the rest of your ingredients.
Spread the smoked turkey and light Cheddar cheese pieces all over the potatoes.
Pour the béchamel sauce over the potatoes, and add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake covered for 45min until potatoes are tender. Then bake uncovered for an additional 15min or until top is golden brown.
Serve and enjoy piping hot.
