Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes thinly sliced
  • 3 slices Smoked turkey breast cold cuts
  • ½ cup Light Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 slices Light Cheddar cheese

Bechamel Sauce

  • 1 l Skimmed milk
  • 6 tbsp Whole wheat flour or Oat flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 7 Spice Blend

Instructions

  • Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for few hours to remove starch. Change the water occasionally, rinsing in between.
  • Prepare the bechamel sauce as described.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
    Coat a baking casserole with olive oil.
    Arrange the sliced potatoes in the casserole.
  • Prepare the rest of your ingredients.
  • Spread the smoked turkey and light Cheddar cheese pieces all over the potatoes.
  • Pour the béchamel sauce over the potatoes, and add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake covered for 45min until potatoes are tender. Then bake uncovered for an additional 15min or until top is golden brown.
  • Serve and enjoy piping hot.
