Skinniest Basic White Sauce (Béchamel )
A MAGICAL mother white sauce recipe that I incorporate into most of my recipes. It is fat-free, much simpler than the traditional béchamel sauce prepared from roux. Contrary to the béchamel sauce, you start with the warming the milk which makes it way easier to avoid having lumps. Use it as a base in au gratin dishes.
