Skinny Smoked Turkey Au Gratin Potatoes
Potatoes au gratin, the ultimate French recipe. This One-pot casserole is easy to prepare & quite delicious. I made a simple twist by adding turkey cold cuts to provide a smoky lean protein source to the dish. Try this skinny version with guiltless indulgence.
Smoked Turkey au Gratin Potatoes Recipe

Materials
- 1 kg Potatoes thinly sliced
- 3 slices Smoked turkey breast cold cuts
- ½ cup Light Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 slices Light Cheddar cheese
Bechamel Sauce
- 1 l Skimmed milk
- 6 tbsp Whole wheat flour or Oat flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- 7 Spice Blend
Instructions
- Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for few hours to remove starch. Change the water occasionally, rinsing in between.
- Prepare the bechamel sauce as described.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.Coat a baking casserole with olive oil.Arrange the sliced potatoes in the casserole.
- Prepare the rest of your ingredients.
- Spread the smoked turkey and light Cheddar cheese pieces all over the potatoes.
- Pour the béchamel sauce over the potatoes, and add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake covered for 45min until potatoes are tender. Then bake uncovered for an additional 15min or until top is golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy piping hot.
